Job Responsibilities
- Maintain currency on production systems, maintenance and warranty contracts, and compliant with software licensing.
- Monitor use of the Intel/Windows computer systems in order to forecast need for additional resources.
- Ensure backup and disaster recovery are implemented and tested.
- Report all events and requirements through established reporting mechanisms. Fully support change management procedures.
- Ensure that IT delivers high levels of customer service to the business through the appropriate use of people, process, and technology.
- Function as part of a team consisting of IT personnel. User department personnel, selected outside vendors and customers.
- Manage the technical implementation of large and small projects.
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Information Technology, Business Math, or related field.
- 8 years experience working in an information technology department.
- 7 years experience using Microsoft Windows server technologies with a MCSE.
- 3 years experience supporting Microsoft Exchange (at least 1 year with Exchange 2003).
- 4 years experience working with projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Experienced with structured change control.
